Cooking Up Community Connections

We Love our Community

At Love of Grub, our connection with the Clifton community is at the core of everything we do. It’s a relationship that goes beyond the flavors we create in our kitchen. We were honored to share our story on CUMAC’s Social Bites, where our chef and owner, Tracey, had the opportunity to talk about our restaurant’s journey and our commitment to the community.

In the episode, Tracey delved into what makes Love of Grub a special place, not just for delicious meals but also as a gathering spot for friends, family, and neighbors. Our feature on Social Bites was a chance to highlight our dedication to Clifton and our role in bringing people together over great food. From serving up our signature chicken and waffles to dishing out cheesy grits, it’s all about creating moments that matter.

Watch the episode here and get a taste of how Love of Grub is more than a restaurant – it’s a part of the Clifton family, cooking up dishes with love and serving a side of community spirit with every meal.

I challenge anyone to find a better breakfast place. EXCELLENT food, ample parking, great service, more than fair prices. Chicken and waffles is to die for.

I came here for a quick brunch with a friend after the gym. FYI it’s BYOB so bring the bubbles! The service was inviting and the staff were very attentive. The quality of the food was good and fresh, with the typical American options. I had the traditional breakfast with the season Lobster Bisque. If you like a thick and creamy soup for sure try the Bisque. The portions are above average and the price is more than reasonable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Love of Grub, a charming restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience. First and foremost, the staff deserves high praise. From the moment I walked through the door, their friendliness and welcoming smiles set the tone for a memorable meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel right at home. It's not every day you encounter such genuinely warm hospitality, and it made the overall dining experience a welcoming one. The interior of the restaurant was equally enchanting, with a noticeable coastal theme. The decor exuded a cozy, vintage charm with its rustic wooden furniture and an abundance of natural light streaming through the large front windows. It was the kind of place where you could easily spend time savoring your meal, lost in conversation. Now, let's talk about the meal itself—the chicken and waffles. Culinary speaking, it met my expectations, but to be fair, it is hard to mess up a dish like chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown; it's tender and juicy. I should also mention that you have the option of choosing between regular and spicy, which is a great thing to have because other places tend to make the chicken too bland. The waffles were light, fluffy, and accompanied by a hint of delightful sweetness. The combination of savory and sweet was a true symphony for the taste buds. Next to that, I ordered a glass of whole milk, which was served chilled and complemented the dish impeccably. My visit to this breakfast and brunch gem was a heartwarming experience. The friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and sheer quality of the food made it a memorable culinary adventure. This is one of those places where, if you were to ask the locals where they recommend eating, this would be on their list.

My sister and I ordered delivery. Turkey Club wrap on rye was delicious. Generous portion of tender turkey and bacon. My sister had the cheesesteak and loved it. The roll was nice and chewy. The menu specifically says "hand cut" sweet potato fries. They arrived soggy. The owner explained that keeping fries crisp during the delivery process is impossible and I do agree. However, he told me the fries are NOT hand cut. Then why does it say "hand cut" on the menu? I tried to crisp up the fries in the air fryer but it didn't help. Next time we'll eat in or skip the fries if we're ordering delivery.

We liked it,have a south of Florida vibe, very relax and laid back, food was pretty good and abundant portions. Benny egg Florentine ( have Taylor ham on it) was pretty good, my girlfriend the big boy breakfast, plenty of food for 2.service friendly,I got coffee refill without chasing the waitress, and for me, a very innovative way to pay, from your cell phone directly to a QR. On the check, I found it very easy and fast.price - quality is good, want a great breakfast,on a great price and quality, definitely is your place.

What is there not to love about this place. Delicious homemade brunch. Everything is cooked to perfection and with love and care. The owner is a sweetheart and always around catering to your needs. It’s like a little oasis, hope away from home. The decor is super unique. I’m a coffee aficionado and was so glad that the coffee was great too! We had the egg omelets and waffles and they were wonderful! Haven’t tasted waffles with such perfect texture in a really long time. Decadent and airy at the same time. Will definitely be back with more friends and family. Thank you for such great food and service!
